The flue filter, also known as a spark arrestor, is used within the WildTable flue to prevent sparks exiting the top of the flue and the subsequent risk of fire to surrounding materials.

The flue filter is inserted into the door on the side of the flue and sits diagonally across the void, with perforations to still allow a strong draw and smoke to be emitted.

This is a consumable part, and although they are easy to clean (see our FAQs), they will eventually need to be replaced.
